About the Exhibition

“The new collection of furnishings designed by Campana Brothers exclusively for Giustini / Stagetti, former Galleria O., Rome, is named Barroco Rococò. Expressly created for the exhibition at the Musée des Arts Dècoratifs in Paris, it represents a second chapter in the Roman experience of the Campana Brothers and embodies the evolution of the work made for the Brazilian Baroque Collection. The Barroco Rococò Collection appears in fact more laden with narrative, a narrative that comes from a conscious intent, triggering more contamination, inserting zoomorphic figures or fragments, crocodile feet and tails and everyday useful objects a razor, for example. The results of this crossing is a synthesis that transform common things into transgenic iconographies.”
