Giustini / Stagetti was founded in 2009 by Roberto Giustini and Stefano Stagetti. The gallery, based in Rome, specializes both on historical Italian design masters with a particular emphasis on Gio Ponti, Franco Albini and Gino Sarfatti; and on international contemporary design.

Through Privato Romano Interno project, curated by Emanuela Nobile Mino, international designers such as Campana Brothers and Konstantin Grcic, are invited to interpret historical Roman architectures and rethink craftmanship traditions in order to develop limited-edition collections produced exclusively for the gallery. A new collaboration with Michael Anastassiades is currently being developed.

Other projects, such as those designed by Andrea Anastasio (2015), Paolo Canevari
(Objects, 2017), Giacomo Moor (Centina, 2018), Umberto Riva (2018), Luca Cipelletti (2019) and Anton Alvarez (2019) have taken as starting point techniques and materials of the Italian artistic and artisan heritage, giving – through inedited works- a personal interpretation of their historical significance.

Since 2016 the gallery respresents worldwide the italian design duo Studio Formafantasma, who developed exclusively for the gallery the Delta Collection (2016) and the Ore Streams collection (2017-2019), both characterised by an experimental material investigation and a research on the relationship between tradition and local culture, focusing on their role as a bridge between craft, industry, object and user.

The gallery regularly collaborates with museums and public institutions to support and promote its artists.
